Create Your School

After signing in, click Add School on the dashboard. Fill in:

  • School name
  • School type (charter, private, etc.)
  • Grade levels served
  • Enrollment size
  • City and state
Tip: You can add multiple schools under one organization. Each school has its own documents, indicators, and reports.

Your new school will appear on the dashboard. Click its name to open its workspace.

2

Upload Documents

Navigate to the Documents tab inside your school. Drag and drop files or click to browse.

Supported formats

  • PDF
  • Word (.docx)
  • PowerPoint (.pptx)
  • Excel (.xlsx)
  • Markdown (.md)

What to upload

  • Board meeting minutes
  • Academic performance reports
  • Staff handbooks & policies
  • Budgets & financial statements
  • Strategic plan
  • Curriculum documents
Tip: Upload the documents your school already has — no need to create anything new. The more documents you upload, the more complete your assessment will be.
3

AI Processing

Once uploaded, processing begins automatically. Our AI:

  • Extracts text, tables, images, and charts from every page
  • Converts content to structured format for analysis
  • Maps evidence to each of the 85 quality indicators
  • Generates scores and evidence quotes for every indicator
Processing time: Most documents are ready in 1–2 minutes. You'll receive an email notification when all documents are fully processed.

You can see per-document processing status on the Documents tab. A progress bar shows how many indicators have been assessed.

4

Review Indicators

Head to the Indicators tab to see scores across all quality indicators. Indicators are organized into three domains:

47

Academic indicators

24

Organizational indicators

14

Financial indicators

Click any indicator to see the evidence quotes pulled from your documents and the AI's analysis.

Score colors

Green70% or above — meets expectations
Amber40–69% — approaching expectations
RedBelow 40% — does not meet expectations
GrayNo data — no relevant documents uploaded yet
Tip: Gray indicators show you exactly which documents are missing. Uploading those documents will improve your coverage and scores.
5

Generate Your Report

When you're ready, go to the Reports tab and click Generate Report. Your report includes:

  • Executive summary for board members and authorizers
  • Scores across all standards and domains
  • Evidence quotes from your documents for each indicator
  • Strengths and areas for improvement
  • 5–7 prioritized recommendations
Report generation time: Typically 2–4 minutes. You can generate new reports as you upload additional documents.

Common Questions

How many documents should I upload?

There's no minimum. Start with what you have — even 3–5 documents will produce useful indicator scores. The more documents you upload, the more complete your assessment becomes.

Can I upload the same document again after updating it?

Yes. Delete the old version from the Documents tab, then upload the new file. The platform will re-process it and update the indicator scores automatically.

What if my scores seem too low?

Low scores usually mean the relevant evidence isn't in your uploaded documents yet. Check which indicators are gray or red, then upload the documents that would contain that evidence.

Who can see my school's data?

Only members of your organization. Data is isolated per organization and never shared across accounts. See our Security page for full details.

Can I have multiple schools in one account?

Yes. Your organization can contain as many schools as your subscription allows. Each school has its own documents, indicators, and reports.

How do I share the report with my board?

Open the report and use the share or download option to export it. Reports are designed to be board-ready with an executive summary at the top.
